Meet the Board
Jeff Peyton has been involved in support of radiotherapy activities since 1976. His early career as a service engineer was supporting a couple of Canadian Cobalt60 Teletherapy units, Canadian simulator and two California medical linear accelerators with serial numbers like #2 and #15. His responsibilities grew along with the institution to include participation in selection of new radiotherapy equipment, facility construction coordination, machine installation, teaching, private and institutional consulting services.Jeff retired in the summer of 2012. He is charter a member of RSEA and also active as a guest lecturer re: radiotherapy equipment for his former employer.
Anthony McCabe has worked in Radiation Therapy for over 7 years. Anthony is the Associate Director of Clinical Engineering for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering Technology from DeVry University, MBA with concentration in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, Master of Buisiness Operational Excellence in Health Care from The Ohio State University, and is a certified Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt.
Luis Segovia has been in the industry for 29 years. He worked for Siemens Medical Laboratories before becoming an In-House support engineer and consultant. His experience includes installation, local service, international support, training, and project management. Luis has been a RSEA member since 2008. He currently holds a position as a Radiotherapy Engineer at Houston Methodist Hospital. Luis holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from the University Houston.
With over 25 years of linear accelerator service experience, Kenneth Wright is the Director of TRV Services for RAD Technology Medical Systems. Prior to joining RAD Technology in 2009, Kenneth worked for seven years as a Field Service Representative for Varian Associates and 11 years as a managing partner at Accelinear Service Company, d.b.a. Oncology Services International. Previous experience includes avionics maintenance for the US Navy and satellite tracking and ranging at NASA’s Wallops Island Satellite Tracking Station.
